2016 PINOT NOIR, RUSSIAN RIVER VALLEY
Tucked in the temperate southwestern edges of the Russian River Valley, two parcels combine to make the 2016 Charm. Planted in the famed Goldridge soil, to Dijon clones of Pinot Noir, the vineyards compliment each other to create a wine redolent of the Russian River Valley’s signature red fruit and supple Pinot Noirs.
A classic and sleek rendition of Russian River Valley Pinot Noir. The equal mix of 777 and 667 clones, with twenty-five percent whole cluster stem inclusion, fuse dynamic fruit and inviting spice components. Bright red apple skin, raspberry, and clove highlight the aromatics. A graceful mid-palate exhibits strawberry, pluot, and cinnamon notes. The lingering finish reveals black cherry, sarsaparilla, and blueberry hints.
